White roses and senior photos paid special tribute to the ten deceased members of the class of 1969: Alice Bechtel, Liz (Dahlke) Butikofer, Ingrid (Dehli) Hogan, Rocky Ford, Bill Fritz, Charles Hartley, Cathy (Honn) Miller, Gary Howes, Susan Smith and Dennis Spiegler. Wayne Rissman quizzed class members on the location of different businesses in downtown Waukon that were active in 1969. Tables were decorated with photos and memorabilia from high school years.Įntertainment for the evening consisted of Barb (Winke) Grahlman having class members stand as she announced their high school sports activities, clubs and organizations they had been involved in while in school. This year’s committee members were Barb (Winke) Grahlman, JoAnn (Seibert) Gelo, Wayne Rissman and Gary Williams.Ĭlass members all received pins with their graduation photographs, which they wore throughout the evening. Waukon High School’s Class of 1969 gathered for its 40-year class reunion Saturday, August 22 at the Old Rossville Store in Rossville beginning with a social hour at 6 p.m.
